The Forecast Dimension Group determines the level at which forecasts are generated in terms of product and storage dimensions.
A forecast dimension group can be selected as the default for all items in the forecasting parameters. A forecast dimension group can also be assigned to a forecast item group, in which case it applies to all items in the group and takes priority over the dimension group selected in the parameters.
